Cheer yourself up

People often get upset and there are loads of reasons for this to happen, but when you know that you can easily avoid that, why not?

Usually I get upset when other people let me down. Even if it’s only about cancelling arranged meeting or saying ‘no’ to an invitation or the suggestion that the person knows it’s something important to me. BUT, when you don’t expect anything, none can let you down! Think about the fact that the only person you can rely on is yourself and be loyal to yourself. If it’s about task for uni or school, just make sure that you won’t get in a trouble if your partner doesn’t finish his task. If it’s a party and you have any doubts that your friend would show up, just get a film that you always wanted to watch and do it by yourself and enjoy it! That’s how you can save yourself from getting upset by irresponsible people!

Other thing upsetting me, what concerns other people is lack of attention shown. What I recently realised is that other people don’t read my mind… presumably, they don’t know when I need more attention and pulling yourself and other person in a fight because of this misunderstanding is not a solution. I can never admit to another person that I get angry because of lack of attention shown. And I know why – it’s because I’m ashamed of that as I know that it’s the most stupid thing to get mad about. Solution – overstep yourself and say that you need attention. Or, if it’s too hard for you, try another solution – show more attention to the person you want to get it from. If it doesn’t help, maybe that person is not worth wasting your time?

The only person who is not allowed to upset me is me myself. I sometimes still do that, but I’m getting there! Such a pleasure when you know that the person who will never let you down is always with me. Well, it is me ;)
